Denim Overalls - Fall in love again

I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of denim overalls. I love the look of them. Do you remember the silver bell bottom overalls everyone was wearing 10+ years ago!? I lived in those! I am so happy they are back in style and the only problem is I can't seem to find the right pair. I want them to be vintage. I liked the worked in look. I plain on pairing my overalls with a nice blazer, stiletto heels, and both a statement necklace and bag. Would you adopt the overall trend again?

{One Night Stand} A Vintage Fashion Market

Tonight 69 Vintage has brought together a "Vintage Fashion Market" for you to get your vintage shop on - with cash only of course! It is a night to shop your favourite vintage stores, listen to music and dance along your merry shopping way, and have a bevie or 2 all in one place - 109OZ (109 Ossington for the not so hipsters)! The shopping party starts at 5 p.m. - I suggest getting there right at opening to score the best of the best at the market.

{Shake It} Vintage Fringe Dress

When filming my video at Pretty Freedom I decided I wanted to play with all of their awesome vintage clothes. It started out as a Pretty Women inspired ending & somewhat of a fun silly time - until I fell in love with this dress. It was one of those dresses that you see and think, if it were another colour it would be nicer, I bet it fits awful, and it's probably just not comfortable. Then...you put it on and it's AMAZING. I image wearing this dress to a fun summer glam party, heck take it into winter and dress it up for a fun festive evening, or it could be that "just because dress". When you put it on - you can't help but shake that fringe. Seriously. That's all I did over and over again for the camera. 

What I learned was this - most unexpected garments turn out to fit and look the best. Don't be afraid to try things on - the worse outcome could be a good laugh and you hang it back up. Best case scenario you end up with an awesome item that will be the perfect match for your closet.
