Men's Spring Fashion Trends 2013

My top 4 favourite fashion trends for men 2013 are:

1. Pastel + Solid Dress Shirts - we are switching out that pattern on pattern for a more solid dress shirt that allows the tie to really stand out!

2. Light Grey Suits - Keep it fresh and cool in a light grey suit - charcoal is still good - but light is better for this season.

3. Loafers - Yes, they are a casual choice of shoe, but not anymore. They can make even the fanciest suit still look dapper. 

4. Ties that Bloom - forget shapes and geomatric shapes + look for florals and bright ties that really pop.

Fashion & Beauty Resolution #1

It's a new year with new possibilities! I'm not one to make resolutions per say, but I do like to think about how I can shake up my fashion, style, and beauty when a new year presents itself. For the remainder of this week - I'm going to share with you my fashion & beauty resolutions for 2013.

My first beauty resolution is: WEAR MORE LIPSTICK

My plan is to wear lipstick more often. I'm not one who really ever wears lip gloss, chap stick, lip stick - I basically have been ignoring this area of my face with my beauty regime. This is the year that I am going to give it a whirl - I plan on trying different shades, brands, and any other lipstick variations that are out there!

I will report back on my faves, not so faves, and any other lipstick findings I may stumble upon.

Everyone that knows me knows that I love to throw my hair up in a top knot. It's especially my favourite hair-do when styling clients, when I'm concentrating, or when I'm just plain lazy to do my hair!

This might sound silly, but when Jersey Shore went to Italy (yes, I loved - key word LOVED that show) - one of  the girls that the Situation brought back to the house had the NEW top knot as her hair do. Ever since that episode I've been rocking the same look. I'm starting to notice other doing the same things and embracing this new half up half down look.

 I love the NEW top knot. Do you?
