Denim Overalls - Fall in love again

I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of denim overalls. I love the look of them. Do you remember the silver bell bottom overalls everyone was wearing 10+ years ago!? I lived in those! I am so happy they are back in style and the only problem is I can't seem to find the right pair. I want them to be vintage. I liked the worked in look. I plain on pairing my overalls with a nice blazer, stiletto heels, and both a statement necklace and bag. Would you adopt the overall trend again?

Thinking about flowers...

This morning I was reading through twitter and catching up on Facebook and I couldn't believe how many people are wishing for Spring, sunshine, and the warmth. It got me thinking that we are looking to brighten things up and are so VERY OVER WINTER! 

Florals are really big for Spring, whether it be for your home decor or outfit. They brighten up a space and are very feminine and beautiful. When one thinks about floral - weddings is the first to pop to mind. At least for me. Although flowers are a big part of weddings - they should play a bigger part in our overall style - both at home and in our fashions. 

Floral pattern or print can be styled as an accent piece for a room through cushions, an upholstered chair, a throw, or even a lamp shade. If you are a bit more playful with your home decor you could take floral inspiration and apply it to many different elements in a room, from wallpaper, to sofa, to area rug - you name it!

The same goes for your outfits. Floral can be an accent to an outfit through a t-shirt, bag, shoes, or jacket. Or if you like to push the limits with fashion and style - you can opt for a head to know mixed floral print outfit. This really is a hot look for Spring!
